Condello was best known as the musical director of The Wallace and Ladmo Show, He made rare and amazing music on a show that was near and dear to the hearts of those that grew up with it in the Phoenix and greater Arizona. This CD features songs and bands from Mike Condello that might have been lost to time forever. Featuring 45’s from Last Friday’s Fire, Heckle & Jeckle, The Scallwags, The Morgan-Condello Combo and the complete long lost Mike Condello Comedy Album (which has never appeared in any form).
This was recorded at the same time as the album, “Phase One” (which was released by Scepter Records in 1968) and was first discovered by Bermuda Schwartz (of the Weird Al Yankovic Band) on a Audio Recorders acetate at a garage sale in Los Angeles many years ago.
This is an amazing CD for anyone who remembers Mike Condello.
